Women believe that if she buy a special dress or parfum, her life will change in the moment. An iron recipe. But life goes by and nothing changes, because for the something has changed, it should make a difficult long work on changing the worldview, to recognize your imperfect and so on. The smart and successful people do this way, and the weak and lazy people remain out in the cold with their purfum bottles. Advertising companies use this weak property of human character and play on the human stupidity and hopes for a better life.
